Nuggets' Nene opting out and leaving Denver

Denver Nuggets center Nene can opt out of his contract this summer and the Denver Post reports that the 6-11 Brazilian is "strongly considering" doing so even if the state of the next collective bargaining agreement remains unknown.
The 28-year-old has one more season left on a six-year, $60 million deal that would bring him $12 million next season, but that might not be enough to keep Nene in the Mile High City.
"I've been here for nine years," said Nene, according to the Post. "If that doesn't work how you want it, you need to sit down and evaluate everything and see what you can do."
Last season, he averaged 14.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, two assists, and one block per game
