TV exposure fueled Bosh move to Miami. Really!

Bosh was a mostly beloved figure north of the border while he played his first seven NBA seasons for the Toronto Raptors, averaging more than 20 points and more than nine rebounds a game.
Like LeBron James did to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chris Bosh took less money than he could have gotten from the Raptors to join the Miami Heat this summer so he and his buddies had a chance at winning everything together in the 2010-11 playoffs.
But it wasn't just championship rings and hanging with pals inspiring Bosh to make the move. "Really, it's all about being on TV at the end of the day," Bosh said, according to TSN.ca. "Seriously. A guy can average 20 (points) and 10 (rebounds), and nobody really cares. If you don't see it (on U.S. national TV), then it doesn't really happen."

Spoken like a true American!!!
