Will Josh Smith or Chris Kaman move to Motor City?

Rumor has it that the Atlanta Hawks may be putting forward Josh Smith on the trading block this season due to the financial burden the team is under after signing so many big-money contracts. The Detroit Pistons appear to be interested, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The paper points out, though, that "it's doubtful [the team] will be able to make any major financial commitments with the team's sale still pending." But when the sale is finalized, the Pistons "would seriously consider" sending shooting guard Richard Hamilton to Atlanta for Smith. A player that wouldn't go in an exchange for Smith is Tayshaun Prince because the Pistons want his expiring contract.
Another possible trade target of the Pistons is Los Angeles Clippers center Chris Kaman. The Clips have started the season 0-4 and may want to make a change. The paper suggests that the Pistons might be willing to part with Prince for this deal.
