When Kobe Bryant refused to let Lakers trainers perform an MRI and/or X-Ray on his injured foot after Game 4, some people thought he was just being foolishly stubborn.
As it turns out, all he was doing was letting them know that he was fine, which is exactly what the Hornets learned for themselves.
Kobe scored 19 points for L.A. in their Game 5 win (106-90), 4 of which came on crowd-igniting dunks on Emeka Okafor, Trevor Ariza, and Carl Landry.
