World Peace, er, Lakers Ron Artest Headed to Finland to Play Ball

Yes, you heard correctly. Reported in a Finnish Newspaper, the man now known as the Lakers Ron Artest will travel to Finland in September to play as Metta World Peace in Finland's top league, Korisliiga. There could be complications in the deal as Artest still has 3 years left on his NBA deal, which could conflict with FIBA, but with the expected NBA Lockout, Artest could be free to play anywhere he'd like.

This would be the same finnish league that brought over Dennis Rodman in November 2005 and Scottie Pippen in November 2008. Maybe it's a love affair with former Chicago Bulls?
