Shaquille O'Neal has profoundly stated that he has no involvement with the beating, kidnapping or knowledge of the situation with his reported ex-wife's former boyfriend. Seven Los Angeles gang members have been charged for the committed kidnapping and assault of Robert Ross back in February 2008. Shaq was accused by Ross to be the one who called for the crime to occur, but prosecutors did not agree with the victim's story. The link was that the leader of the 7 gang members is reportedly a friend of Shaq and that he may have called the "hit" because of a sex tape that Ross may be aware of involving Shaq and a girl. Here is the alleged story of the case from ProBasketballTalk (NBC): "The gang members allegedly kidnapped Ross in Hollywood, forced him to drove to South Central Los Angeles where he was beaten as they demanded the tape. They allegedly took Ross’ Rolex, diamond chain and earrings, and $15,000 in cash."
