The Dallas Mavericks traded both of their draft picks to the Portland Trail Blazers for guard Rudy Fernandez on Thursday.
The 24th overall pick of the 2007 draft, the 26-year-old Fernandez averaged 8.6 points and 2.5 assists with the Trail Blazers last season.
The Mavericks selected Texas' Jordan Hamilton with the 26th overall pick, but announced that he was selected for another club. The Associated Press reported that the team was Portland.
Dallas still owns the 57th pick, but that selection will go to another team as well.
