Andre Iguodala & Monta Ellis May Be Trading Places

Both the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers are rumored to be shopping their star players this off-season in order for each team to take the next step in becoming contenders.
The Warriors want to at least become a consistent playoff team out West, while the 76ers want to improve their team enough to compete with the power teams in the East.
Both Andre Iguodala and Monta Ellis have been rumored to be expendable and now they’re being rumored to be swapped in a trade between the two teams according to Ric Bucher:
“The Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers have discussed a trade that would send the Warriors’ leading scorer, Monta Ellis, to the 76ers for Andre Iguodala, according to league sources, including one with direct knowledge of Golden State’s thinking.” -Source
Both players have three years remaining on their contracts (Ellis is owed $33 million, Iguodala is owed $42 million) so neither team will have to take on any extra years of salary.

This potential deal would benefit the Warriors more if these two players are the only ones involved because they’d be getting a versatile wing slasher/defender in AI 2.0, while the 76ers would be adding to their crowded back-court of small guards with Ellis.

The Sixers already have three young guards in Jrue Holiday, Jodie Meeks and Lou Williams so one of them would be expendable if Ellis arrives in town.
If this trade does happen, expect for a few more players to be involved to make the trade more attractive for both sides.
