Rondo asks to meet with Doc

Doc Rivers blamed himself for being unprepared and out-coached by close friend Tom Thibodeau while Rajon Rondo also acknowledged that the Celtics were unprepared for the onslaught of Derrick Rose and Co.
So Rondo requested a rare post-game meeting with Rivers likely to discuss matters. Rondo asked for the meeting and talked for a few minutes with Rivers in his office, perhaps to clear the air about play calling and Rondo's up-and-down performances.
Well.... this is interesting.
Doc specifically talked to Rondo about walking the ball up after the Bulls scored.  We all know about Rondo's notorious stubbornness.  And everyone is writing about how he was noticeably upset after the loss.
So what's the result of this meeting?  What's bugging Rondo to a point where he has to go to Doc and request a meeting?  Maybe we'll find out tonight.

"Think we need to play with a better sense of urgency," he said before his meeting with Rivers. “It better be a wakeup call, if not, we won’t make it far. We’re a completely different team (than last year). It’s not the same team. We’re not going to be able to turn it on like we did year. I don’t know what we’re waiting on but these types of games we have to find a way to win. It’s a roller-caster and right now we went back down today."

I wouldn't be surprised if Rondo wasn't frustrated/embarrassed by Rose doing whatever he liked last night. When Rondo talks about it not being the same team I'm going to assume he's not lamenting the loss of Tony Gaffney in the locker room. He's talking about Perkins. On the court the Celtics defense has always been set up, so Rondo funnels a driver a certain direction, but he can't finish because Perk and KG are there to stop him. Now there's just KG there and he wasn't enough to stop Rose.

Offensively I feel that Rondo only has himself to blame. He should be pushing the ball more and attacking the hoop. Top point guards thrive on drives to the hoop and getting to the line. Rondo wants no part of the free throw stripe and that is a shame, since Rondo can get by anyone.
