Timberwolves holding point-guard tryouts

WOW!!!!! The 1-7 Minnesota Timberwolves are having one lousy season so far and it may get worse now that starting point guard Luke Ridnour injured a hamstring in Sunday's loss to the Houston Rockets.
The team is already down a point guard thanks to offseason hip surgery to Jonny Flynn , which means Sebastian Telfair is the only one left who is fully healthy right now.
This situation surely provides Timberwolves fans with yet another reason to curse Ricky Rubio for spurning the team when it drafted him fifth overall in 2009.
AOL FanHouse reports that Minnesota is having a point-guard tryout session with former NBA players Trey Johnson, Sundiata Gaines, Curtis Jerrells and Aaron Miles before Wednesday's game in California against the Sacramento Kings.
The site points out that if and when the team signs another player, someone on the current roster will need to be released.
