Rose keeping return options 'open'

“Oh, no,” Rose said, when asked if he’d announce he’s sitting out this season. “I’m keeping it open.”

Rose went on to say that he’s trying not to think too much about the return, as he’s focusing his efforts on getting better. The guard continues to say that he’ll return to play “whenever I’m ready to play.” He doesn’t know when this time will be, and at this point all he believes he can do is cheer on his teammates.

It appeared that Rose was close to returning for the Bulls nearly two months ago when he began scrimmaging. However, he’s still not on the court, and most of the reasoning behind this is thought to have to do with mental barriers standing in his way.

Rose also noted that he’s open to playing limited minutes – at least initially – to ease back into the game. Whenever his return comes, he continues to claim that he’s hopeful he’ll be back “soon.”

Chris Webber Explains Why He Attended The NCAA Title Game

Chris Webber was the subject of much speculation over the past week on whether or not he would show up for a Fab Five reunion in Atlanta. Webber, who has shied away from the University of Michigan since a scandal involving him rocked the program, arrived in Atlanta to support the school in their title tilt with Louisville. He explained his presence in a quick Twitter post.

Iman Shumpert’s Adidas Logo Shaved Into Head Didn’t Last Long Thanks To The NBA

Iman Shumpert did his best to sneak one past David Stern and the other authority figures in the NBA this weekend. Iman recently shaved a logo of one of his corporate sponsors, Adidas, into his head and actually debuted the look during the Knicks win over the Bucks on Friday night. It didn’t take long for word to get to the NBA front office, as the next day Iman posted another picture of his hair to his official Instagram account with the caption reading ‘#banned…sry @nba didn’t realize there were branding issues wit da logo #iPUToN.’  The image showed the logo had been shaved off completely leaving only a triangle.
Sporting a corporate logo during games is indeed against NBA rules. Item 5 of Section H of the NBA rule book’s extended comments section, which governs “player/team conduct and dress”, reads: “The only article bearing a commercial ‘logo’ which can be worn by players is their shoes.”
The language appears alongside other uniform notes, which include: no t-shirts, players must tuck their uniform shirts into their shorts, players must assume a “dignified posture” during the National Anthem, and coaches and assistant coaches must wear a “sport coat or suit coat” during games.
You have to give Iman a little credit for trying, and you have to bet that Adidas will be sticking with him for quite some time.

Thunder F Kevin Durant and Rapper Lil B Get Into Beef On Twitter

Very rare rapper Lil’ B took to twitter Tuesday to voice his displeasure with Thunder all-star forward Kevin Durant, after the Durantula accepted a challenge to play him in one-on-one and subsequently avoided the game.
Lil’ B posted the following tweets, which sent his fans into an uproar, and flooded Durant’s @ mentions with a bunch of people talking more Heat than Pat Riley:
KEVIN DURANT OWES “THE BASEDGOD” FOR EVERYTHING AND HE HAS NERVE, AS WELL AS TIM TEBOW… “THE BASEDGOD” IS BEHIND MOTIVATION, – Lil B
KEVIN DURANT HAS NERVE TO LIE TO “THE BASEDGODD” AND SAY HELL PLAY BASKETBALL WITH HIM AND THEN BE SCARED TO PLAY, LIAR – Lil B
Lil’ B is a Bay Area legend that claims to have played basketball in his younger days and he has been adamant about challenging Durant to a game at any time and any location.
Even though I have my money on Durant, I would still like to see if Lil’ B can at least get one bucket, like Bow Wow wasn’t able to do when he played Kobe a while back.
